Dr. Vijay Marimuthu brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Moreton Hearing. He holds BSc and MSc in Speech and Hearing from India and was awarded the prestigious Hearing CRC Scholarship to pursue his Ph.D. in Cochlear Implants at Macquarie University, Sydney.

Dr. Marimuthu brings a wealth of experience across teaching, research, and clinical audiology, with a strong focus on both diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology. His dedication to advancing the field is reflected in his current roles as a Board Director and Academic Chair of the Australian College of Audiology (ACAud). In these positions, he plays a pivotal role in shaping audiology education, practice standards, and professional advocacy across Australia. He has significant experience working with individuals from a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) background.

Outside of his professional life, Vijay enjoys hiking with his wife and daughter in the scenic hinterlands of the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
